Job summary

Food City is seeking a Front End Supervisor to oversee cashier teams and ensure customer service excellence in-store. The role includes safeguarding funds, supervising lane operations, and enforcing store policies to maintain a secure, efficient shopping environment.

The ideal candidate will manage front-end staff, monitor compliance with cash handling procedures, and coordinate service quality across shifts to meet the company standards.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to meet standard physical and mental demands.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and perform routine tasks.
• On-site work required during scheduled shifts.

Responsibilities

• Promote and maintain efficient and courteous service to customers.
• Supervise front end operations and cashiers.
• Maintain security of safes and funds.
• Count safes and verify deposits.
• Monitor policies on alcoholic beverages, tobacco, and age-restricted products.
• Keep front end clean and stocked; manage carts and parking lot.
