Job summary

Food City in Georgia is seeking a front-end supervisor to ensure fast, friendly service and maintain the checkout area. You will supervise cashiers and fuel associates, enforce security and cash handling policies, and uphold store cleanliness and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to meet standard Physical and Mental demands.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and/or written instructions, perform routine and repetitive tasks and have constant contact/interaction with various levels of individuals on a daily basis.
• Ability to attend on-site work during scheduled shifts to adhere to company time and attendance policies.

Responsibilities

• Promote and maintain efficient and courteous service to customers.
• Supervise and monitor the total functions of the front end.
• Supervise and monitor all cashiers, courtesy clerks, and fuel associates.
• Monitor and enforce coupon handling procedures.
• Maintain security of safe and change funds and count safe during shifts.
• Ensure funds are maintained and secured and follow banking procedures.
