Job summary

Food City is seeking a front-end supervisor to oversee cashier teams, maintain security of funds, and ensure courteous customer service on the sales floor. The role focuses on cash handling, deposit accountability, and adherence to company policies during scheduled shifts.

You will supervise a team of front-end associates, manage checkout procedures, and maintain store cleanliness and compliance with dress code standards. This is a full-time position based at our location.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to meet standard physical and mental demands.
• Ability to follow verbal and/or written instructions and perform routine tasks with daily interaction.
• Ability to attend on-site work during scheduled shifts to adhere to attendance policies.

Responsibilities

• Promote courteous service and maintain customer flow per policy.
• Supervise front end staff and monitor cashiers and associates.
• Ensure security of safe and change funds and monitor deposits.
• Count cash and verify bank drops during shifts.
• Oversee coupon handling, pricing, and checkout procedures.
• Maintain front-end housekeeping and store cleanliness.
• Enforce dress code and name tag use.
