Job summary

Burlington Stores in St. Peters, MO is seeking a Full-Time Customer Service Supervisor or Selling Floor Supervisor to join our store leadership team.

You will supervise front-end operations as Manager on Duty, coach associates, and drive sales while upholding safety and company standards. This role requires at least 1 year of supervisory experience in off-price, big box, or specialty retail, and the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of supervisory experience in off-price, big box, or specialty retail.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a positive and engaging attitude.
• Ability to work a full-time schedule including nights, weekends and holidays as required.
• Ability to move/handle/lift store merchandise weighing 40 lbs. or more, and stand/walk for extended periods

Responsibilities

• Supervise all store functions and associates while in the role of Manager on Duty.
• Maximize sales results through training, developing, and coaching of direct reports.
• Promote safety for customers and associates by adhering to company guidelines.
• Cultivate a diverse culture based on teamwork and collaboration.
• Solve issues/concerns, make informed decisions, and supervise front-end operations to ensure excellent service.
• Reinforce Asset Protection strategies to eliminate shortage.
• Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new associates.
• Participate in weekly workload planning meetings.
