Job summary

Food City is seeking a front-end supervisor in Kentucky to oversee customer service, cashier staff, and fuel associates, ensuring a courteous, efficient checkout experience and adherence to the 'No more than two customers waiting in line' policy.

You will supervise front-end operations, monitor security of safes and funds, count cash, and enforce company policies on alcohol, tobacco, and age-restricted items, while promoting ValuCard usage.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to meet standard Physical and Mental demands.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and/or written instructions, perform routine and repetitive tasks and have constant contact/interaction with various levels of individuals on a daily basis.
• Ability to attend on-site work during scheduled shifts to adhere to company time and attendance policies.

Responsibilities

• Promote and maintain efficient and courteous service to customers.
• Supervise front end operations and cashiers.
• Monitor fuel associates and lane pickups.
• Maintain security of safes and funds.
• Count safe during shifts.
• Promote use of ValuCard.
• Promote and enforce coupon handling procedures.
• Keep front-end areas clean and organized.
