Job summary

Woodlands Market is seeking heads of cashiers to ensure smooth front-end operations across Marin and San Francisco locales. You will train, coach and motivate customer service staff, resolve occasional conflicts and act as the front-line liaison when management is absent.

A strong product knowledge base and quick learning ability are essential to help customers find items and special orders. Pay ranges from $21 to $25 per hour with full-time benefits including health, dental and vision

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and customer service skills.
• Ability to process information/merchandise through computer system and POS register system.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and authorize customer returns, exchanges, merchandise credits, check authorization, charge sends, discretion discounts.
• Coordinate Front End service coverage for cashiers and baggers.
• Perform cashier and bagging duties as necessary.
• Responsible for assisting in training of new cashiers and baggers.
• Ensures compliance with company policies and loss prevention efforts.
