Job summary

ShopRite of Aberdeen in Aberdeen, NJ is hiring a Front End Runner to deliver friendly, efficient service at the checkout and throughout the store. The Associate will scan, price, bag, and process payments, while maintaining accurate cash handling and customer assistance per policy.

The role requires standing for long periods, occasional heavy lifting, and the ability to work varied shifts, including overtime, to support store demands.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak English clearly.
• Basic math proficiency required.
• Ability to stand/walk for the duration of shift.
• Able to lift 25 lbs, occasionally up to 50 lbs.
• Able to work in varying temperatures.
• Able to interact with customers in a friendly and helpful way.
• Able to work cooperatively with others.
• Willingness to work varied schedules and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service.
• Enter customer information into database where applicable and assist with checkout.
• Maintain a clean, neat, safe work environment.
• Process payments and handle cash/card transactions; issue refunds as needed.
• Keep products organized, stocked, and properly displayed; assist with pricing.
