Job summary

ShopRite of Branchburg in New Jersey is seeking a Front End Runner to deliver accurate scanning, pricing and bagging while providing a high level of customer service at the register. This hourly position requires friendly interaction, basic math, and the ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.

• The applicant must be able to read, write, speak English and interpret basic information.
• Ability to perform basic math and handle money accurately.
• Stand/walk for long shift durations and lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly customer service at the front-end checkout.
• Scan, price and bag products and process payments accurately.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow company policies.
• Operate cash register and handle cash/Ccard transactions as needed.
• Assist with promo and raincheck handling and support other departments when required.
