Job summary

ShopRite of Freehold in Freehold, NJ is seeking a Front End Runner to deliver a great customer experience with accurate scanning, pricing and bagging, and proper payment handling. You will greet customers, assist with inquiries, and support store operations while upholding ShopRite service priorities: Safety, Friendliness, Presentation and Efficiency.

Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs; previous cashier or customer service experience is a plus. 18+ required.

Qualifications

• Read, write, speak, and understand English proficiently.
• Basic math skills for transactions and making change.
• Stand/walk for the duration of shifts and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Work in varying temperatures and handle cleanliness requirements.
• Provide friendly, helpful customer service and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service.
• Enter customer information and process transactions accurately.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment in the front-end area.
• Operate/register when needed and follow cash-handling procedures.
• Assist with pricing, rainchecks, refunds, and customer inquiries.
