Job summary

Food Lion is seeking a Front End Associate to deliver fast, friendly service and uphold customer service standards at checkout and front-end areas. You will greet customers, scan items, process payments, and assist with bagging while following store policies.

The role may include helping with Food Lion To-Go orders and other front-end tasks during busy periods. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, strong communication, reliability, and the ability to learn multiple tasks

Qualifications

• Ability to perform cashier and service center duties.

Responsibilities

• Provide fast, accurate, friendly service to customers and greet them by name when possible.
• Scan orders, handle payments, and follow standard bagging procedures.
• Assist customers with To-Go orders and curbside or front-end tasks as needed.
• Maintain clean, organized checkout area and report any issues or malfunctions.
• Follow cash handling procedures and preserve accuracy in transactions.
