Job Description: Customer Service Associate

Provide exceptional customer service, assist with department management, maximize financial opportunities, and assume management responsibilities in the absence of the Manager and Assistant Manager. Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED, plus at least six months of cashier experience and 1-2 years of related retail experience, or relevant education and experience.
  • Minimum age: 18 years (19 in Idaho and Alaska).
  • Ability to pass a drug test.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and on weekends.
  • Ability to travel independently occasionally.
  • Maintain confidentiality and accuracy.
  • Organize and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Valid driver's license and CPR/First Aid certification.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of company policies, procedures, and organizational structure.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver excellent customer service and encourage peers to do the same.
  • Ensure fast and friendly checkout by assisting customers efficiently.
  • Provide peer coaching to cashiers following best practices.
  • Maintain compliance with policies, safety standards, and labor agreements.
  • Respond to customer situations and perform cashier duties when needed.
  • Monitor scheduling and promote company initiatives.
  • Handle customer comments, complaints, and requests professionally.
  • Complete incident and accident reports accurately.
  • Manage common associate areas to ensure a welcoming environment.
  • Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
