Job summary

Omnicare, a CVS Health Company, is seeking a Front End Pharmacy Technician to join our closed‑door pharmacy team serving long‑term care facilities.

You will perform order entry, assist the pharmacist, triage customer requests, verify dosages, and keep accurate patient records while delivering compassionate service and ensuring safety. This is a full‑time role with benefits and a collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• Certification/licensed/registered pharmacy technician or as required by state law.
• One (1) or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician.

Responsibilities

• Perform order entry tasks and collaborate with other team members in the medication dispensing process at our closed‑door pharmacy.
• Triaging customer service requests by department, urgency, and information/response required.
• Calculating and/or verifying correct dosage based on prescriptions.
• Review narcotic Rx’s to ensure timely processing.
• Providing dispensing pharmacist with information regarding allergies and drug interactions, therapeutic duplications, and other flags.
• Creating and maintaining accurate customer records.
