CVS Health (Omnicare) seeks a Front End Pharmacy Technician to join our team in Edison, NJ. You will support the medication dispensing process in our closed-door facility, entering orders and assisting the pharmacist to ensure accuracy and exceptional customer service.

You will work in a collaborative, supportive environment focused on quality care for patients. Qualifications include a certified/licensed pharmacy technician as required by state law and at least one year of experience.

Qualifications

• Certified/licensed pharmacy technician as required by state law.
• At least 1 year of experience as a pharmacy technician.

Responsibilities

• Triaging customer service requests by department, urgency, and information/response required.
• Calculating and/or verifying correct dosage based on prescriptions.
• Assist in reviewing narcotic Rx’s to ensure timely processing.
• Provide dispensing pharmacist with information on allergies and drug interactions.
• Create and maintain accurate customer records.
