Job summary

Kroger Family of Companies seeks a Front End Operations Specialist to support day-to-day department functions, policies and procedures. You will drive efficiency across Front End, Customer Service Center and Accounting while coaching supervisors and promoting Kroger initiatives.

Responsibilities include process improvement, training, and maintaining a clean, safe shopping environment. Strong communication and multitasking are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Willing to work mornings, afternoons, evenings, or nights as needed.
• Weekend and holiday availability
• Store retail experience with emphasis on customer service and frontend operations
• Ability to multi task and handle large workloads
• Effective written and oral communication skills
• Ability to learn a wide range of computer applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, ACE, Supersked)
• Understanding of department operations (people mgmt, merchandising, inventory, shrink, scheduling, expenses)
• Past work record showing integrity and dependability

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support of Front End department operations, policies, processes and procedures.
• Explore and develop more effective and efficient processes for Front End, Customer Service Center and Accounting.
• Design a cleaner, more efficient working environment for Front End, Customer Service and Accounting.
• Ensure safe, effective and efficient customer service throughout department.
• Improve reporting tools and performance metrics.
• Provide training, support and follow-up on all aspects of Key Retailing.
• Coach and train customer service manager and front end supervisors.
• Promote and implement company initiatives to direct reports positively.
• Support store management in maintaining a well-organized shopping environment.
• Follow through on special assignments and other duties as assigned.
• Must perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
