Hugo's Family Marketplace is seeking a Front End Manager to oversee the daily operations of the front-end, ensuring excellent customer service and efficient cashier and courtesy clerk performance.

You will manage scheduling, training, and inventory control while fostering a positive and organized work environment for the front-end team.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma.
• Some college coursework or Associate’s degree in business, retail management, or a related field.
• Ability to handle cash responsibly and maintain confidentiality.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
• Schedule and monitor the performance of cashiers and courtesy clerks to ensure efficient service.
• Train front-end staff in customer service techniques, cash handling, and store policies.
• Control inventory of front-end supplies to ensure availability and manage costs.
• Ensure proper bagging techniques are used to protect customer purchases.
• Maintain a clean and organized front-end area through a comprehensive housekeeping program.
• Demonstrate great communication and listening skills to effectively interact with customers and staff.
• Exhibit attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Job Purpose

The Front End Manager at Hugo's Family Marketplace is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the front-end department, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining efficient cashier and courtesy clerk performance.
