Lunds & Byerlys Highland Bridge in St Paul, MN seeks a dynamic Front End Manager for a full-time role offering a competitive wage. The position includes managing front-end operations, coaching staff, and ensuring excellent customer service. Shift range typically 6:00am–10:30pm across a 7-day operation.

The ideal candidate has a solid business background, payroll and scheduling experience, and strong customer-service skills to lead a busy checkout area with efficiency and hospitality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level or higher education in business or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with payroll, scheduling, and bookkeeping.
• Prior team leadership experience and ability to supervise front-end staff.

Responsibilities

• Greeting and assisting customers.
• Managing and assisting Front End operations including scanning items, entering pricing data, processing payment, packaging groceries, and resolving checkout concerns.
• Bookkeeping and payroll processing.
• Assisting in coaching, mentoring, and training front-end staff.
• Scheduling, hiring, and training front end staff.
• Assist Operations Manager in other assigned tasks.

Job Description

Lunds & Byerlys Highland Bridge is currently hiring for a vibrant and outgoing full-time Front End Manager to create a sensational shopping experience for our customers! This position works a full-time schedule and earns a competitive wage of $26.43-$30.43/hr.

We operate 7 days/week and are open from 6:00am-10:00pm. For this position the employee would be scheduled a range of shifts between 6:00am-10:30pm.

FRONT END MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES

Our Front End Managers are responsible for a wide variety of tasks such as:

• Greeting and assisting customers
• Managing and assisting Front End operations including:
  • Scanning items
  • Entering pricing data
  • Processing payment
  • Packaging groceries
  • Resolving any checkout concerns
• Bookkeeping and payroll processing
• Assisting in coaching, mentoring, and training front-end staff
• Scheduling front end staff
• Hire and train front end staff
• Assist Operations Manager in other assigned tasks

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Education:
  • Required: undergraduate degree in business or equivalent experience
• Experience:
  • One or more years' experience in with payroll, scheduling, and all aspects of bookkeeping
  • Prior team leadership experience
• Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Strong knowledge of retail operations
• Computer Skills (Outlook, Excel, Word)
