Job summary

Forman Mills is seeking a Front End Manager (FEM) reporting to the Store Manager/Co-ASM. The FEM oversees the front-end operations including POS registers, service desk, layaway, cash office, cleanliness, and overall efficiency to ensure a fast and friendly checkout for customers.

The role involves staffing the front end, monitoring performance, and enforcing company policies with the Store Manager and Loss Prevention to maintain high service standards and profitability.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Experience: 1–2 years managing a front end team in a high-volume retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee front-end operations including POS registers, service desk, and layaway.
• Schedule front-end staffing to meet business needs while controlling payroll hours.
• Ensure fast and friendly checkout experience and cash handling accountability.
• Monitor cashier performance and daily/weekly reports with Store Manager and Loss Prevention.
• Conduct morning meetings reviewing sales, line control, and front-end initiatives.
• Maintain front-end standards and proper dress code and name tag compliance.
