Qualifikationen

Aufgaben

• Smile and provide prompt, accurate and friendly service while engaging customers to create a positive shopping experience
• Greet each customer and uses his or her name whenever possible
• Unload customers’ groceries from cart to belt and grouped items for easy bagging
• Scan orders and handle payment transactions per standard practice
• Follow bagging procedures and safety protocols; maintain cash control
• Identify customers needing assistance and offer to take orders to their car, including To-Go if applicable
• Ensure front-end area is neat and presentable and report any issues to management
• Perform cashier shifts as scheduled and support front-end operations as needed
• Maintain proper bags, receipt paper and supply levels at check stands
• Complete computer-based training and training aids as required
• Pursue cost-saving measures and improve labor productivity
