Job summary

Fresh Thyme Farmers Market in Downers Grove, IL, is seeking a Coordinator to efficiently drive customer sales at the front registers. You will maintain cash control, ensure customer satisfaction, and safeguard assets while assisting customers with a friendly, energetic demeanor.

Essential duties include overseeing checkout lanes, greeting customers, managing cash registers, processing payments, and keeping POS areas clean.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2–3 years of related retail experience and 1 year of management experience.
• Previous experience in a natural foods industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure outstanding service at checkout lanes.
• Oversee accurate and efficient operation of cash registers.
• Process payments by cash, check, credit cards, gift cards, or debit.
• Maintain clean checkout areas and guard cash.
