Job summary

Fresh Thyme Market in Chicago is seeking a Coordinator team member to ensure efficient checkout operations, friendly service, and accurate cash handling.

You will greet customers, oversee cash registers, process payments, stock and merchandise, and help maintain POS accuracy; the role requires a high school diploma, 2–3 years retail experience, and at least one year in a supervisory capacity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or its equivalent required.
• 2-3 years of related retail experience.
• One year of management experience.
• Previous experience in a natural foods industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure customers receive outstanding service through checkout lanes.
• Greets customers entering store and responds promptly to needs.
• Oversee the accurate and efficient operation of all cash registers.
• Receive payment by cash, check, credit cards, gift cards, or debits.
• Operate POS systems and maintain price accuracy and receipts.
• Maintain clean checkout areas and proper cash control.
• Provide consultation to customers about products.
• Meet or exceed sales floor conditions and signage compliance.
