Job summary

Responsibilities

• Greet, engage, and assist customers.
• Process customer transactions through the check lane quickly, accurately, and efficiently.
• Understand the POS system and handle various tender types (Cash, Checks, Credit, Debit, SNAP EBT, etc.) according to policy.
• Adhere to cash handling limits and loss prevention guidelines.
• Follow policies for restricted sale items (alcohol, tobacco, DVDs).
• Report pricing discrepancies and stay current with ads.
• Provide customer assistance across departments and maintain store safety standards.
• Ensure a welcoming environment and answer questions about products.
