Job summary

Kroger Co. is hiring a Courtesy Clerk/Grocery Bagger at our Baytown, TX location. The role involves bagging groceries at checkout, assisting customers with loading bags, and keeping shelves and aisles clean and organized.

You will help customers with product locations, inform them about specials, and ensure safety and food handling compliance. On-site position with opportunities to support store operations, stock areas, and provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Retail experience is preferred but not necessary

Responsibilities

• Bag groceries at checkout for customers
• Assist customers with loading bags into their car
• Perform basic shelf conditioning
• Inform customers of grocery specials
• Return merchandise to store shelves
• Gather bascarts and return to designated areas
• Clean spills and pick up trash in store and parking lot
• Understand store layout and locate products
• Adhere to safety procedures and food safety regulations
• Follow directions and seek help to resolve issues
• Provide support to minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults
• Must be able to perform essential functions with or without accommodation
