Job summary

The Boeing Company is hiring a Software Engineer, Front End Developer to support the Space Mission Systems portfolio in Albuquerque, NM or El Segundo, CA. You will design, develop, and test front-end interfaces in collaboration with UI/UX teams to meet program milestones.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience with Front End languages, frameworks, and libraries (HTML5, JavaScript, REACT).
• Experience with foundational Computer Science knowledge and object-oriented design and software patterns.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher.

Responsibilities

• Leads the design, development, and analyses of user interfaces of software systems
• Partners with appropriate stakeholders to oversee translation of software requirements and models that meet customer, operational and performance requirements
• Leads completion of software system-level analyses to identify risk, issues and opportunities
• Leads software engineers to successfully complete code reviews to ensure alignment to requirements and standards
• Leads review of product and process for alignment with project plans and industry standards
• Researches and oversees implementation of current and emerging software technologies, tools, and frameworks (e.g. development, design, review preparation, customer coordination, closed area development, etc.)
