Job summary

Altamira Technologies seeks a Senior Frontend Software Engineer to bridge design and implementation across existing applications. You will refine component hierarchies, champion scalable patterns, and enforce a cohesive design system working with Product Owners and engineers.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience with modern frontend architectures, design tools, and TS/JS ecosystems, plus a TS/SCI clearance to operate on national security programs in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or similar) from an accredited college or university.
• At least 4 years of experience doing UI/UX design work.
• At least 8 years of experience in Software Engineering.
• Active TS/SCI Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Bridge the gap between design and implementation, translating UI/UX concepts into clean, maintainable code within existing applications.
• Refine component hierarchies and champion scalable architectural patterns.
• Enforce a cohesive design system across frontend codebases.
• Partner with Product Owners, stakeholders and cross-functional engineers to clarify requirements.
