Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Front-End Engineer II to join the Governance Platform team. You will own the design and delivery of interfaces—from conversational AI configuration flows to data-rich dashboards and policy management UIs—at enterprise scale.

Join a team building modern, scalable front-end experiences using React, TypeScript, and the AWS Cloudscape Design System, collaborating with designers, PMs, and engineers to shape new interaction patterns.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional front-end, web or mobile development using JavaScript, HTML and CSS.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end feature delivery from design through implementation, tests and production release.
• Build innovative interaction patterns: conversational interfaces, dashboards and policy editors using React/TypeScript.
• Define UX for new problem spaces and shape product direction with designers and PMs.
• Drive front-end quality with well-tested code and continuous improvement in production.
• Contribute to front-end architecture, state management and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with backend engineers, data scientists and security teams to deliver intuitive interfaces.
