Job summary

Amazon Leo is seeking a Front End Engineer II to design, build, and ship front-end features for the global ISP customer experience. You will work with React and Next.js, own features from concept through deployment, and collaborate with product, marketing, and backend teams to deliver accessible, performant interfaces.

You will participate in code reviews, write documentation, and help shape engineering workflows, with a focus on AI-assisted development and scalable web experiences across

Qualifications

• 2+ years of non-internship frontend/web or mobile development using JavaScript, HTML and CSS
• 1+ years of CS fundamentals (OOP, data structures, algorithms)
• Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular and React

Responsibilities

• Design and build front-end features for the Amazon Leo e-commerce platform using React and Next.js, from concept through deployment and operation
• Collaborate with product, UX, marketing and backend teams to deliver accessible, scalable interfaces across devices and browsers
• Leverage AI-enabled workflows and AWS services to accelerate delivery and improve infrastructure
• Participate in code reviews and mentor teammates on frontend best practices, UI patterns, and maintainable code
• Write clear documentation and train new team members on how the software is constructed, tested, and operated
