Job summary

Amazon Quick, the governance platform, is seeking a Front-End Engineer II to own interfaces from conversational AI configuration flows to data-dense dashboards and policy management UIs.

You will deliver end-to-end features using React, TypeScript, and the AWS Cloudscape Design System, collaborating with backend engineers, applied scientists, and security teams to turn complex capabilities into intuitive interfaces. This role sits within the Governance Platform.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of non-internship professional front end development using JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
• 1+ years of computer science fundamentals (data structures, algorithms) experience.
• Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular and React.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end feature delivery from technical design through implementation, testing, and production release.
• Build innovative interaction patterns: natural language configuration interfaces and policy editors using React, TypeScript, and AWS Cloudscape Design System.
• Define UX for a new problem space and collaborate with UX designers and PMs to invent patterns that don't yet exist in the industry.
• Drive front-end quality with well-tested code and ownership of features in production.
• Contribute to front-end architecture: component design, state management, and performance optimizations.
• Collaborate with backend engineers, applied scientists, and security teams to deliver complex capabilities with intuitive interfaces.
