Position Overview

This is a rare opportunity to join a growing agency as it brings website development in house and to define how AI accelerates that work from the start. Reporting to the Head of Digital Strategy & Innovation, the Web Developer will own the build of a growing portfolio of client websites. First, you will take approved Figma designs and content to launch far faster than traditional development cycles allow. Second, you will help set the standard for responsible, AI accelerated development in a regulated industry, shaping the platforms, practices, and standards the broader team will adopt. Third, you will join a newly formed Innovation Services team with direct visibility to agency leadership and room to grow alongside colleagues building new capabilities together. The role is fully remote within the United States.

Position Responsibilities

• Build and launch client websites by translating approved Figma designs and content into production sites, using AI coding tools to significantly shorten the time from approval to launch.
• Manage multiple concurrent website builds with varying client stakeholder requirements, owning testing and user acceptance testing before launch.
• Bring website development in house by transitioning work from outside development partners and establishing repeatable build processes.
• Recommend and establish the platforms, frameworks, and hosting approach for in house builds, with the flexibility to choose the right tools for each project.
• Establish and document standards for AI generated code going to production, including code review, testing, security, and quality checks.
• Build and maintain websites that collect patient information with appropriate privacy and security safeguards, partnering with internal and client stakeholders.
• Partner closely with Creative, UX/UI, and client teams, including client IT teams when needed, to ensure builds match approved design and functionality, meet technical requirements, and move efficiently through review.
• Develop reusable components, templates, and frameworks that speed future builds across a growing portfolio of sites.
• Champion responsible AI practices across the team, sharing techniques and lessons learned so others can work more effectively.
• Stay current on emerging AI development tools and evaluate where they can improve speed and quality.

Position Qualifications

• Proven track record of shipping production websites with AI accelerated development, with measurable results such as reducing time to launch from months to weeks.
• Significant professional experience in front end or web development, with a foundation in UX/UI and experience translating Figma designs into production websites.
• Agency experience, such as a digital agency, UX/UI shop, or web development shop, including managing multiple projects with different client stakeholders.
• Strong hands on skills in core front end technologies and modern frameworks, with the flexibility to work across languages and platforms and demonstrated responsible practices for reviewing, testing, and securing AI generated code.

Preferred

• Healthcare or pharmaceutical agency experience, including building websites that collect sensitive or patient information in a regulated environment.
• Experience with WordPress and other CMS platforms.
• Background at a smaller or growing organization, comfortable wearing many hats, adapting to new tools, and building new processes.
• Collaborative and curious, motivated to grow alongside a team building new AI capabilities.
