Job summary

Luxoft is building a cutting-edge trading platform in New York. You will lead front-end development, delivering robust UI components and high-performance web apps for traders, with backend integration via REST APIs and WebSockets.

The role requires expert React/TypeScript skills, a strong UI styling mindset, and a collaborative approach within an agile team. Hybrid work includes three days in the NY office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Expert-level proficiency in React (with TypeScript/JavaScript).
• Strong understanding of React UI design patterns and TypeScript/JavaScript patterns.
• Proven experience with multiple global state management libraries (Redux, Zustand, MobX, Recoil, or similar).
• Strong passion for UI styling - CSS, CSS-in-JS, and design systems.
• Expertise integrating UI with backend services (REST APIs, WebSockets).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain front-end applications using React and TypeScript with strong UI design skills.
• Collaborate with backend teams, follow SDLC and agile methodologies; contribute to system architecture and code reviews.

Building a trading platform for innovative international top-tier hedge fund from the ground up, comprising of front-office system for traders, pre-trade checks and analysis, intra-day positions management, order management and routing, risks and limits management, reports of trading activities, FIX connectivity, market data providers connectivity (e.g. Bloomberg B-pipe).Compensation for NYC 150000-170000 USD Gross per year.

Responsibilities

• The Team is focused on the development and maintenance of various applications. The successful candidate will have considerable and proven experience in React, a good working knowledge of end-user and server-side data processing techniques, a good understanding of SDLC and agile development methodologies.Requires working hybrid- 3 days from office in NY

SKILLS

Must have
