Job summary

Baker's, part of The Kroger Family, seeks a Front-end Associate to assist the department manager in achieving sales and profit goals while ensuring a safe, clean environment. Based in Omaha, you’ll support daily Front-end operations and uphold company standards and training programs.

You will help execute budgets, monitor cash handling, and schedule staff to maintain strong customer service during peak times. Prioritize safety and compliance while delivering an outstanding shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Ability to handle stressful situations.
• Effective communication skills.
• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, subtraction).
• Retail or Customer Service experience.

Responsibilities

• Promote trust and respect among associates.
• Create an environment that makes customers feel welcome and appreciated.
• Gain knowledge of products and respond to questions with suggestions.
• Assist with monitoring and controlling department expenses.
• Assist in managing cash, sales records, and store cash items.
• Schedule Front-end associates to provide adequate department coverage.
• Support budgeting, profit and loss reviews, and action on financial reports.
• Collaborate with Front-end staff to promote teamwork.
