Job summary

Responsibilities

• Smile and provide prompt, accurate and friendly service to customers.
• Greet customers and use their name when possible.
• Unload groceries from cart to belt for easy bagging.
• Follow bagging procedures and assist with payments and refunds.
• Maintain cash control and perform overrides as needed.
• Assist with Food Lion To-Go orders where applicable.
• Keep front end and station neat and clean; report issues to management.
• Perform cashier duties during scheduled shifts or surges.
• Adhere to dress code and wear uniform with name badge.
