Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Effective communication and customer service skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Ability to perform the technical requirements of cashier and service center.
• Must meet minimum age requirements and be able to meet the physical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Smile and provide prompt, accurate and friendly service while engaging customers to create a positive shopping experience.
• Greet each customer and use their name whenever possible.
• Unload groceries from cart to belt and group items for bagging.
• Check cart bottoms and under baby seats for items before completing an order.
• Follow bagging procedures and handle payments per standard practice.
• Scan orders and handle payments, refunds, and overrides.
• Identify customers needing assistance and offer to take orders to their car.
• Maintain neat, clean work station and front end area.
• Report any issues with registers or equipment to management.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
