Job summary

Weis Markets is seeking a Customer Experience Associate to warmly greet customers, answer questions, and help resolve concerns. You will operate the front-end scanning equipment and cash register, ensuring accurate checkout and proper bagging.

You will maintain department cleanliness, follow safety and store policies, and assist in other departments as needed. High School Diploma or GED is required or in progress; no prior experience is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and resolve questions or concerns promptly.
• Operate front-end scanning equipment and cash register; bag groceries and assist customers.
• Ensure accurate checkout, handle cash, checks, electronic payments and coupons.
• Follow store policies regarding tobacco and alcohol sales.
• Maintain knowledge of weekly ads and store promotions.
• Keep department clean and sanitary per guidelines and OSHA requirements.
• Cooperate with coworkers to ensure smooth department and store operation.
