Job summary

Weis Markets, Inc. is seeking a Customer Experience Associate in Bellefonte to warmly greet shoppers, answer questions, and resolve concerns while ensuring accurate checkout and proper bagging.

You will operate front-end scanning equipment and cash register, handle payments, adhere to tobacco/alcohol guidelines, maintain clean work areas, and cooperate with teammates. High school diploma or GED required; no prior experience needed.

Qualifications

• Education and/or experience completed or working towards a High School Diploma or GED. No prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and answer questions in a polite, professional manner.
• Operate front-end scanning equipment and cash register; bag merchandise properly.
• Ensure accurate transactions and proper cash handling; follow company cash drawer policies.
• Maintain knowledge of weekly ads, promotions, and store layout to answer questions.
• Maintain sanitation and comply with health and OSHA requirements; dispose of trash properly.
• Cooperate with coworkers and supervisors to keep department and store running smoothly; assist in other departments as needed.
