Pick 'n Save in Hartland, WI is seeking an energetic front-end associate to deliver exceptional customer service and oversee checkout operations. You will greet customers, assist with purchases and maintain a clean, efficient front end in a fast-paced store environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Up to 6 months related experience or training, or an equivalent combination.
• Effective interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Good math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Sound judgement and decision making.
• Friendly, approachable demeanor and teamwork.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate teamwork to ensure customer satisfaction and a pleasant working and shopping environment.
• Provide friendly and efficient customer service with sincerity, patience and respect.
• Greet customers and escort them to products, assist with loading/unloading and reach-discovery.
• Anticipate customer needs and resolve questions to strengthen loyalty.
• Oversee front end operations to meet sales, profit and labor goals with cost control and sanitation.
• Determine work priorities to maintain front end conditions.
• Ensure prompt checkout and adherence to policies and laws.
• Train, coach associates on front end procedures to reduce shrink and waste.
• Communicate pricing discrepancies to the pricing coordinator.
• Provide back-up coverage for the service operations manager in their absence.
• Gain knowledge of checkout policies, procedures, and cash handling.
