Job summary

The Weis Markets associate role is based at our Muncy, PA location. You will greet customers, process purchases, and help resolve questions with courtesy and professionalism. You will use the front-end POS system to scan and bag items, ensure accurate charges, and follow promotions and store policies.

Training is provided; no prior experience is required. Adherence to safety, tobacco and alcohol sale guidelines, and PPE usage is expected to maintain a clean, compliant store environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or in progress.
• No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and answer questions in a polite, professional manner.
• Identify and process customer orders accurately and promptly.
• Operate front-end scanning equipment and register; bag merchandise efficiently.
• Contact customers by phone to address questions or concerns.
• Maintain knowledge of weekly ads, promotions, and store layout to assist customers.
• Ensure accurate transactions and proper cash handling; follow security procedures.
