Responsibilities

• Greet customers, answer questions and help resolve concerns in a polite, professional manner.
• Operate front end scanning equipment and cash register, bag merchandise and assist customers.
• Ensure accurate transactions with cash, checks, electronic payments and coupons, following policies and cash-handling rules.
• Maintain knowledge of weekly ads and store layout to answer customer questions.
• Maintain sanitation and cleanliness in the department and store, meeting health and OSHA requirements.
• Cooperate with coworkers and supervisors to keep department functioning smoothly and improve performance.
• Use PPE provided by the company and comply with safety guidelines.
• May assist in other departments as needed.
