Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Store Leader in Gainesville, TX to supervise and develop associates, drive financial performance, and deliver exceptional customer service aligned with the One Best Way model.

You will coach teams, manage budgets, oversee merchandising and inventory flow, and implement process improvements to ensure a high quality shopping experience while supporting the company’s growth and community initiatives.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ of college; OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience; OR 2 years’ general work experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience.
• Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University.
• Firearms CBC/Background Check requirements may apply for facilities that sell firearms.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop teams through training, feedback, and active listening to associates.
• Drive store financial performance by managing budgets, forecasting, and controlling expenses to achieve sales goals.
• Ensure exceptional customer service using Walmart OBW standards and community programs.
• Oversee operations such as merchandising, inventory flow, and process improvements to reduce shrink and enhance profit.
