Job summary

Qualifications

• 2 years’ college; OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience; OR 2 years’ general work experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience.
• Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments (for example, Academy trainings, Open Door trainings, etc.).
• Firearms/eligibility requirements may apply at certain locations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop teams by teaching, training, and providing feedback to associates.
• Drive store financial performance through budgeting, forecasting, and cost control to meet sales and profit goals.
• Ensure excellent customer service using Walmart's One Best Way service model.
• Oversee store operations including merchandising, inventory flow, and shrink mitigating actions.
• Supervise hourly associates, hire, train, mentor, and recognize performance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to achieve business goals and promote a culture of belonging and integrity.
