Albertsons Companies Inc. is seeking a Front-End Team Member to support a smooth checkout experience for customers. You’ll assist with scanning items, bagging groceries, and answering questions, helping ensure every visit ends on a positive note.

You’ll keep the front end organized, rotate tasks between transactions, cart retrieval, stocking, and maintaining the checkout area. This fast-paced role rewards reliability, friendly service, and attention to detail across busy shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be 16+ or 18+ depending on local/state requirements
• Completion of cashier/front-end training upon hire
• Basic math and communication skills required
• Flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Prior customer service experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Scan items and bag groceries to complete purchases
• Answer questions and assist customers at checkout
• Keep the front end organized, clean, and running smoothly
• Rotate between tasks: handling transactions, collecting carts, restocking, maintaining checkout area
• Adapt to changing priorities and customer flow in a fast-paced environment
