Job summary

Albertsons Companies Inc. is seeking a Front-End Team Member to ensure a smooth, friendly checkout experience for customers, from scanning items to answering questions and helping complete purchases.

You will keep the front-end area organized and running smoothly, handle transactions, bag groceries, and assist with cart retrieval or stocking as needed, in a fast-paced retail environment. The role emphasizes adaptable, responsive service, accuracy, and teamwork, with opportunities for development

Qualifications

• Must be 16+ (or 18+ depending on local/state rules).
• Completion of cashier/front-end training upon hire.
• Basic math and communication skills required.
• Ability to work flexible shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist at checkout with friendly, clear communication.
• Process purchases accurately using cash, card and digital payments.
• Maintain a clean, organized front-end area and restock as needed.
• Help with bagging, cart retrieval, stocking and general front-end upkeep.
