Job summary

Albertsons Companies Inc. is seeking a Front-End Team Member for our VONS store in California. You’ll help ensure a smooth checkout experience, scan items, bag groceries, and assist customers with questions.

You’ll rotate between tasks, keep the front end organized, and support with cart retrieval, stocking, and general upkeep. The role offers flexible schedules and benefits including weekly pay, associate discounts, and opportunities for training and growth.

Qualifications

• Must be 16+ (or 18+ depending on local requirements).
• Completion of cashier/front-end training upon hire.
• Basic math and communication skills required.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Prior customer service experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers at checkout, scan items and process payments.
• Bag groceries and help complete purchases accurately.
• Keep front-end area clean and organized throughout the shift.
• Restock supplies and manage carts as needed.
• Answer questions and provide friendly customer service.
• Follow store policies and checkout procedures.
