Job summary

Albertsons Companies Inc. is looking for a Front-End Team Member to ensure a smooth checkout experience for customers. You will scan items, bag groceries, and help complete purchases with friendly, efficient service.

You’ll also keep the front-end area organized and clean, rotating between tasks like handling transactions, collecting carts, restocking supplies, and maintaining the checkout area throughout the shift.

Qualifications

• Must be 16+ (or 18+ depending on state local law)
• Completion of cashier/front-end training on hire
• Basic math and communication skills required
• Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays
• Prior customer service experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Create a smooth checkout experience for customers, including scanning items and handling payments
• Keep the front-end area clean, organized, and welcoming
• Assist with bagging, cart retrieval, stocking, and general front-end upkeep
• Respond to pricing, transaction, or customer service questions as they arise
