Job summary

Albertsons Companies is seeking a Front-End Team Member to help create a smooth checkout experience and assist customers throughout their visit. You will scan items, handle transactions, bag groceries, and keep the checkout area running efficiently.

This role emphasizes friendly communication, accuracy in pricing and payments, and staying organized in a fast-paced environment. Weekend and holiday shifts may be required; training provided.

Qualifications

• Completion of cashier/front-end training upon hire.
• Basic math and communication skills required.
• Flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Prior customer service experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers in a friendly, clear manner at checkout.
• Process purchases accurately across cash, card, and digital payments.
• Bag groceries and assist with cart retrieval and stocking as needed.
• Maintain an organized and clean front-end area throughout shifts.
• Follow register procedures and company policies.
