Job summary

Albertsons Companies is seeking a Front-End Team Member to deliver a smooth checkout experience. You will scan items, process payments, bag groceries, and help maintain a welcoming front-end area.

Responsibilities include assisting customers, staying organized in a fast-paced environment, and supporting cart retrieval and stocking as needed. A flexible schedule and willingness to learn are required.

Qualifications

• Must be 16+ (or 18+ depending on state/local law)
• Completion of cashier/front-end training upon hire
• Basic math and communication skills required
• Ability to work flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays
• Prior customer service experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Assist customers at checkout with friendly, efficient service
• Handle transactions including cash, card, and digital payments
• Scan items accurately and bag groceries
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-end area
• Restock supplies and manage cart retrieval as needed
• Follow store policies and checkout procedures
• Adapt to changing tasks and customer flow throughout shifts
• Stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed
