The role emphasizes friendly service, accurate purchases, and teamwork in a busy retail environment. Must be flexible for mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays; prior cash handling or customer service is a plus, and ongoing training is

Qualifications

• Friendly, clear communication during checkout and customer assistance
• Processing purchases accurately, including cash, card, and digital payments
• Accuracy in scanning, pricing, produce codes, and order completion
• Handling cash transactions, counting change, and balancing registers
• Managing multiple tasks while maintaining steady workflow
• Assisting with bagging, cart retrieval, stocking, and front-end upkeep
• Recognizing and addressing pricing, transaction, or customer service questions
• Following company policies, register procedures, and checkout processes
• Comfort managing changing tasks and customer flow
• Standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 lbs as needed

Responsibilities

• Handle checkout transactions efficiently and accurately
• Bag groceries and assist with bagging duties as needed
• Restock supplies and maintain a clean, organized checkout area
• Assist customers and answer questions at the front end
• Manage carts, currency, and payments; balance end-of-shift tasks
