Job summary

Albertsons Companies is seeking a Front-End Team Member to help create a smooth checkout experience for customers. You will scan items, bag groceries, and answer questions to ensure every visit ends on a positive note.

You will also keep the front end organized and running, rotating between tasks such as transactions, cart collection, restocking, and maintaining the checkout area in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older (or 18 years or older, depending on local/state requirements)
• Completion of company cashier or front-end training upon hire
• Basic math and communication skills required
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Prior customer service experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Assist customers at checkout, including scanning items and answering questions
• Keep the front-end area organized, clean, and running smoothly throughout the shift
• Rotate between tasks: handling transactions, collecting carts, restocking supplies, and maintaining the checkout area
• Support customers with bagging and overall store front-end upkeep
• Adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
