Job summary

Kroger is seeking a Customer Service Associate at 3731 Riley Fuzzel Rd, Spring, TX. You’ll assist customers, process sales, and maintain checkstand area cleanliness while upholding Kroger’s core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity and safety.

The role requires cashier experience, basic math, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to work weekends and various shifts is expected as part of the job.

Qualifications

• Six months cashier experience to work at Customer Service Desk.
• Minimum age 18 (19 in some states) if selling tobacco.
• Ability to pass drug test; ability to work in fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work weekends, any shift, and overtime as needed.
• Knowledge of company policies, procedures, and organizational structure.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and encourage other associates to deliver excellent customer service.
• Perform cashier functions, including open/close register and tender transactions.
• Maintain cleanliness of checkstand area to housekeeping standards.
• Answer telephones and comply with corporate policies.
• Process refunds, exchanges, money orders and other transactions at the Customer Service Desk.
• Verify Electronic Article Surveillance tags are deactivated or removed from products.
