Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking a Front End Team Member to support guest services, maintain attractive displays, and assist with cashier duties. You will ensure friendly, efficient service following SOPs and participate in store programs while upholding health and safety regulations.

No prior retail experience is required and training will be provided. The role supports a fast-paced environment with opportunities to grow within Whole Foods Market.

Responsibilities

• Checks out customer groceries efficiently and accurately.
• Upholds government regulations concerning sale of alcoholic beverages and taxation.
• Follows proper check, ATM, and credit procedures.
• Uses proper tares procedures when ringing up scalable items.
• Cleans and stocks Front End areas, including own register.
• Follows all cash handling procedures – meeting and exceeding regional cashier variance policy.
• May assist with training of new Cashier and Cashier Assistant Team Members.
• Assists supervisor in controlling customer flow and backed up lines.
