Job summary

Spec's Family Partners is seeking a Front-End Associate to deliver exceptional guest service at the register, assist with purchases, and maintain store appearance. You will handle cash transactions, apply discounts or coupons, and support inventory and carry-out duties in a dynamic retail setting.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, basic math and communication skills, and the ability to work a full-time, on-site schedule. A welcoming, patient, and team-oriented attitude is essential.

Qualifications

Must be able to read, comprehend and write simple instructions or memos.
State law requires age 21+ to work at Spec's.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in whole numbers and decimals for cash transactions.

Responsibilities

Operate cash register or electronic scanner; look up products and scan barcodes.
Process payments (cash, checks, debit, credit, gift cards) and issue receipts.
Maintain neat, clean work area and restock as needed; bag or box merchandise.
Assist with carry-outs and inventory tasks; balance drawer and prepare end-of-shift drop.
Answer guest questions, provide information, and resolve complaints politely and professionally.
Verify IDs when required and follow safety/OSHA guidelines.
